[PBEM News] Dark Fort Weyr:- Seeking Crafters, Guards and Drudges

When enough trouble has happened within a Weyr, who can blame a
Weyrwoman for getting paranoid and increasing the rules in an already
strict environment?

When a goldrider is victim to an attempted poisoning, and the culprits
aren't found, Kamma the Weyrwoman blames everyone except herself. The
Guards are guilty for not finding the culprits, the kitchens are
guilty for allowing the poisoning to take place, the Healers are
guilty for not informing the Guards about the poisoning quickly
enough...

Nothing seems to be working right, and can she be blamed for not being
happy about it? But her ensuing temper tantrum, and the new rules laid
down - that Crafts must begin to send reports directly to her, that
there must be no more female Crafters above apprentice level in the
Weyr as clearly they're half the problem, and that not achieving what
*she* wants quickly enough will lead, presumably, to another temper
tantrum - leads  to the Headwoman walking out after being called
incompetent, and to Crafters who are restless and unhappy with the
state of affairs.

Which Crafts will stand for it, and which ones will not? When faced
with a Weyrwoman who will accuse everyone if something goes wrong,
will some Halls quietly withdraw their services? And how will the
Weyr cope if they do?
