Re: Monster Island, J order From: WCK93001@UCONNVM.UCONN.EDU (YES) Date: Thu, 18 Aug 1994 20:28:29 +0000 Hi. I just got a turn back where one of my monsters J'd for 50 action points straight. The result was +5 Muscle, + 13 Health. In general, my monsters, both Bignoses, get +2 or +3 Muscle for every 25 action spent doing J. There doesn't seem to be a difference in results when different permutations are used with the J order: it averages 1 point of Muscle for every 10 points of J. The amount of Health recovered seems to be random, though. One of my monsters wrestled a Cemetery Creeper this turn. Here are the results: With excellent lift, you flip the Cemetery Creeper over, but are unable to take advantage of this opportunity. [No damage inflicted.] With its bashing claw, the CC popped your belly. [No damage inflicted.] You're able to grab your Knife but you couldn't thrust it into its body. [No damage..] With its bashing claw, the CC cracked your left shoulder. [No damage..] You've had enough and break the hold. Then I fled, but got +2 defense. If my monster made the CC flee, would the CC still have been joined by 2 other CC's, forcing my retreat without any booty? -- W. C.
