Fortunately the ftp directory was on an external disk which was quickly moved to an alternate computer. Also, the ftp.cp alias was renumbered to another server, and it might have taken some time for this to propagate through the internet. Anyway, sorry for being unavailable for several days. Also, as this mirror of the PBM archives will be phased out in the near future as I don't work here anymore, we took this crash as an opportunity to disable the upload facility. Our WWW service has also been terminated. With a bit of luck Gopher might still be active though:-) If there is a lot of demand we might be willing to find an old backup of the configuration files, but this isn't very likely.
