There are a couple of good places to get info, mostly mentioned in the
FAQ posting for this group. There are 2 ftp sites that have info about
a bunch of games, and a listing of all games. There are detailed
descriptions of most of the major commercial games in this list.

Both Olympia and Atlantis are much like Crack of Doom.

There are several commercial games which are like BattlePlan, many of
which have a more fantasy or space orientation: You Rule!, Phoenix,
Battle.

I never understood why anyone liked mugging grandmothers and pushing
crack on streetcorners in a game. Takes all kinds, I suppose.
