Legends NIC MEGA Item list updated ftp

UPDATE UPDATE.  Please read.

Some of the NIC info was lost on merger, it has now been re-entered
thanks to the supplier resubmitting his material.  Quite a few
additions from the new UK game 2 module, with about a 50/50 split
on items staying the same or being different.

The Legends MEGA Item and Monster lists are now available via ftp.
To get them:

ftp ftp.astro.cf.ac.uk
username: anonymous
password: your e-mail address

cd /pub/outgoing/Items

LINKS HAVE BEEN SET UP SO THAT IF YOU CAN GET THE LATEST VERSION OF EACH
LIST BY ftping:

coa.lis
roi.lis
nic.lis
monsters.lis

The raw files in that directory of the form:

NameVersionnumber.lis

eg. the current files are:

roi003.lis   The 13-08-93 files have become version 1.
 nic023.lis   ******  CURRENT VERSION
 coa002.lis
 mons065.lis

Difference files:

nic22-23.dif
mons5-6.dif
roi2-3.dif
coa1-2.dif

It makes obvious what two versions it is the difference between.  This
file can be used to generate the later version from the earlier version
using the unix command `patch'.  Besides that, it is very useful for
pulling out the NEW additions to the list.

Hopefully this file names will be compatible to all users.

I will post the lists on the net at least once a month for those who
cannot ftp them.
