There are usually free rules and set-ups for PBeM (Play-by-email) games. The PBsM (Play-by-snail-mail or just PBM) usually have a cost at least for a hard copy of the rules although a lot of companies are making their rules available electronically. >I'm looking to setup a small pbm game for my friends, and was wondering >if there were any PC/Unix based packages that would allow me >to manage such a small venture. I know of one sharware game called VGA Planets. This program allows up to eleven (I think) players to play and any one of those players (or a third party) could host the game. The registration fee for the game is only $15 US and is not required to host the game. The unregistered version will not allow a player to increase his tech level over six. John Up
