MI - Toughness From: thmoe@oleg.hiof.no (THOMAS MOE) Date: Wed, 12 Oct 1994 15:12:57 +0000 In response to a few messages in eMonster, here is what I have managed to gather on Toughness gain: Toughness generally increases by one or two per turn. Occasionally you get another point or two when making camp. The general gain is dependent on how far east you are. What I have been able to figure out (with a lot of help) is that your last Toughness gain in the Westlands is on turn 9. If you haven't left the Westlands by then, you won't get Toughness on turn 10. Turn 30 for the Gwardion, 50 for Jagged Mor. Anyone figured out the next regions? The "rigor of the day has increased your Toughness" when making camp is traceable to a single factor: You must have visited at least three Jungle squares that turn. As easy as that.
