ABM turncard lost in Quest Game #4 From: dhren@math.arizona.edu (David Hrencecin) Date: Tue, 11 Oct 1994 07:01:12 +0000 Has anyone else had this happen? On 1 Sept., I was mailed my most recent (!) turn sheet for Quest, Game#4 from Adventures By Mail. Something like two weeks passed with no new turn sheet, so I sent them a note asking what had happened to my most recent turn results. On 20 Sept., I received a reply from Bob stating that they had no idea, and would send me an update so I could process a new turn. Unfortunately, afte two more weeks, still no turn sheet. I sent them another email, again politely asking them if they had lost my address, and if not, where my turn was. This time, no reply. Thus, after almost another week, I emailed an explanation that I was very unhappy with the situation and would like a refund on the remainder of my unfulfilled turn credits. Now I'm not the type of person to jump immediately on someone if things don't turn out exactly right, but I think 4 weeks is more than enough time to sort out any mistakes. For that matter, I could write off a _few_ credits, but this is more than a matter of a few -- $24 in services unrendered. This is money I'd like to continue using in the game, but if I'm not getting a game from it, I can't afford to throw $24 to the wind. Does anyone have any idea what is going on with the company, if I'm an isolated case, or if ABM is completely losing it? Bob, if you are reading this, understand that I DO want to continue with your company, but if ABM is not willing to render services, I am fully prepared to go further by writing to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else who is interested in pursuing this case. I have had good service from ABM until now, so I'm still willing to take this as a fluke. Interested in hearing any info on this... -- Dave Hrencecin (dhren@math.arizona.edu) Referenced By Up
