Turns will be run twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. Below are instructions on how to get the rules and maps. 1.0 How to get the rules: ------------------------- The rules, maps and sample reports for Global Diplomacy are available by FTP at FTP.RoyalRoads.ca Userid is ANONYMOUS, then enter your internet id for the password. The following files are available in \pub\incoming\ : gd-aod.txt ==> This is the rules for Global Diplomacy gdsetup.txt ==> This is the starting setup for Global Diplomacy gdgif.zip ==> Global Diplomacy maps in GIF format compressed with pkzip gdpcx.zip ==> Global Diplomacy maps in PCX format compressed with pkzip gdrprt.txt ==> a sample Global Diplomacy report 2.0 How to sign up for a game: ------------------------------ Before your sign up for a game, you must download and read the game rules. To play Global Diplomacy you must also download one of the GD map files (either gdpcx.zip or gdgif.zip). Once you've meet the above requirements, send me an e-mail note (dgreenin@bcsc02.gov.bc.ca) stating the game you would like to join. if you want to play Global Diplomacy, then list your preferred top three countries, and we will try and place you in one of them if possible. Once enough people have signed up for a game, we will e-mail you your first report along with when your first turn is due. 3.0 Game Schedule: ------------------ All games will be run twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays at noon Pacific Time.
