The attack command is no longer used.  In fact, not a lot of the old system is
valid.  Not that I played the old system, but reading the old rules confused
me for a long time, until I got the new set.

Deaths occur nightly.  At least four so far, and that's likely to rise as
players have discovered one or two death arenas.  Also upwards of 30
retirements have occurred.  Likely the full status of the database relates to
the number of players (people, e-mail addresses, whatever) rather than the
number of characters being played.
