This part's already come true. Olympia, an all-email game, has players
from the following countries:

United Kingdom: 8
Canada: 5
Germany: 3
Finland: 2
Ireland: 1
Sweden: 1
Holland: 1
Norway: 1
France: 1
Italy: 1
Australia: 1
New Zealand: 1

That's a total of 26 out of 181 addresses - 15%. There are probably a few
more who don't have obviously foreign addresses, e.g. Compuserve users
could be overseas.

The number of non-USA players in free games seems to be higher. I once
took the strategy of allying with all the non-Americans in a long-ago
game run by Tony Lovell. That was about 25% of the players, and we
beat those nasty Americans hands down.

For those who are interested in the various on-line services having
players in Olympia:

22 America Online players
20 Compuserve players
 9 Delphi players
 6 netcom players
 3 io.com users (Steve Jackson's site)
 2 prodigy players (Steve Jackson beats Sears?)
no genie players

A majority of the players seem to be folks who have network
connections through work or school.
