OTF: Brandenburg battle From: keith.langley@mdcs.com (Keith Langley) Date: Wed, 30 Nov 1994 17:50:20 +0000 One True Faith game #2 turn 1: 11/29/94 BATTLE OF BRANDENBURG between Magian's forces and agnostic defenders. Magian's forces used superior firepower to destroy the enemy without engaging in close combat. They combined their fire on the hell horses, demoralizing Brandenburg's only cavalry. They then used the threat of their hobgoblin and ratman cavalry to force the defenders into open terrain and overlapping fields of fire, winning the battle with only one hobgoblin unit lost. They were fortunate that the defending priest had no combat miracles. Magian's attackers: outcome: 2 rat slg 2 hob bow 1 slain by slingers 1 ehm dk 1 rat cav with hD 1 hob wolf with hE 1 rat sw Agnostic defenders: outcome: 1 rat slg with pE 1 slain by arrows pE slain by arrows 1 thm bow 1 disrupted; surrendered 1 thm hh 1 disrupted; surrendered 1 rat sw with hD 1 slain by arrows hD slain by arrows 1 rat sw 1 slain by slingers ***************************************************** keith.langley@mdcs.com email for info on One True Faith or Ancient Empires ***************************************************** Up
