BSE Recruitment Notice

First off:  Beyond the Stellar Empire is one of, if not, the oldest Space
Opera PBM game.  It has a long history and is extremely fun to play.  In
recent times, BSE has run into some problems (the PBM company started
distributing MAgic the Gathering Cards and guess which they spent more
time on??), but it has just been sold to Rolling Thunder Games and things
are looking up.

BSE is huge and has an extensive player base that is extremely active.
While it is not completely inexpensive to play (damn epensive sometimes),
cost wise it really depends on how involved you are.  You can explore
alien worlds, mine raw materials, start colonies, become a pirate, kill
pirates, etc.

If you haven't played before or checked it out and like space opera type
games, please consider BSE.  Some of the rules are available at ftp

My reason:  I am writing this recruiting message because I am recruiting
players for my alien factin QSN.  We are looking for a few new players
with few existing ties to BSE and are good PBMers.  I can promise you
some nice battles and some very interesting exploration that needs to be
done.
