MEPBM Ca. 1650 - Need one more for DS team. From: phredd@casbah.acns.nwu.edu (Phredd Groves) Date: Sun, 11 Dec 1994 22:24:56 +0000 Howdy! I've putting together a grudge match team to play the Dark Servants in MEPBM ca. 1650. From my local circle of friends and gaming acquaintances I have managed to accumulate 9 players commited to spreading the Shadow of Mordor throughout the lands of Middle Earth. I'm looking for a tenth with internet access. The team as it is now consists of 3 veteran MEPBM players [myself included] who have a few [not hordes] of games under our belts, including one victory as the Haradwaith. Of the other six, two are diehard gaming grognards who have dissected MEPBM night after night for months and are champing at the bit to actually PLAY. Another is a gamer who I have confidence in, although he isn't as mad about it as my grognard friends. The other three I haven't met, but will be under the guidence of either a veteran or a grognard [two are brothers of friends of mine, the other is a phd candidate in poly-sci who wrote his disseratation on political simulations]. I'm hoping to recruit another veteran MEPBM player. I've been looking at the DS strategy as consisting of 3 or 4 cabals of nations working closely together, and it would really help to have another experienced player to help guide the newer players so that they can avoid some of the rules potholes and don't waste their time and energy on some quixotic pursuit that is tangential to victory. Most of the players are going to have net access as well, so coordination should be fairly close. If you are interested, please contact me at: phredd@nwu.edu We look forward to working with you! [and any of you folks on my team in Game 175 are welcome if'n you are interested (You too Long Rider!)] phredd -- MylookingdaysweredonewhenIfellintohersunALLTHESTARSANDPLANETSFELLINLINEatnight Are YOU Shakespearianced? | phredd@nwu.edu whenshecametobedIwouldhangmyhappyheadandsayohUnluckyLadyyouraremineShegavemegr Up
