As for what they do, buy one and you can research it to find out <g>. Crazy Horst ------------------------------ From: steve668@dallas.relay.ucm.org Date: Fri, 9 Dec 1994 07:00:32 CST Subject: BSE: Good Deals at WCE Od... -Reply Rick, A trophy is something left over from the HDN. It's what they did to colonists after they captured a colony. Think of it as a "stuffed and mounted trophy". Since the HDN are removed from the game, trophies are useless (they were only of use to the HDN anyways). Sorry to spoil your potential market, Phil. One other thing. There are 50 Sensor pods left in the game, I know cause I sold them to the WSP. Sensor Pods are also useless. ABM remooved them from the game at the time of the changeover ('85) but had accidently missed those and forgot about the item number. So if someone tries to unload them on you (it was several years ago, and Dave has probably unloaded them long ago), caveat emptor. I figured you'd respond, Steve. That's OK. I'll leave them on my market, and eventually some suck-- er, customer will buy them. General Secretary Horst{ QSN High Council feels that the WCE marking of such a minor event as the supposed destruction of 60 ships is inappropiate with the current warming of relations seen between the WCE and the QSN. In any case, if the WCE believes 60 ships lost is worth a celebration, we understand that certain affliations consider this a large fleet but the QSN do not. We would like to note that is a WCE terrorist (Mike P) had not interfered with our orders, the results over Soul Cage might have been entirely different. The current QSN policy remains steady as sucessors to the QSN High Council are surprisingly similar to their predecessors. Any affliations who believe that the QSN might was harmed by this bee sting only need to look at the fleets over Drell. One QSN Admiral was seen commenting on Soulcage to Grenada as Persian Gulf is to ... "If those silly WCE pikers want to see a real fleet, we'll send one their way. I kinda want to look at those disruptor things a little closer." We are very interested in WCE economic policy and are glad to see the WCE come out of their socialistic tendancies and will welcome them to the free market that is the Periphery. Incidently, we would like to note that disruptor tech is actually the technology of the Catark, and how the WCE got that tech is not a shining day in their history. Minister Anton Qutroh QSN Email Propagandist BTW, The colony of Eldarath in the Quoda system have announced a celebration to commerate their freedom from WCE tyranny. While this is not a QSN wide celebration, we can understnad the importance of such an event in that colony's history. The WCE is invited to look in on Eldarath and see what real capitalism does for colony growth. (Please ignore the Galaxy cola advert.) On a personal note, I would like to announce the completion of a large teleporter link between Eldarath and my colony Illium Novum. We are forever joined together. ------------------------------ From: Richard William Chiang <richc@uclink2.berkeley.edu> Date: Fri, 9 Dec 1994 13:25:58 -0800 (PST) Subject: BSE: Needed- Imperial Response This reporter would like to seek comments from the Imperials concerning the rumors of a destruction of an Imperial ship over a FGZ colony. In anticipation of changes at AppleCore, what do you think is the best ship for surveying & exploring? My qualifications are that it has to be fast, reasonably defensive (i.e. doesn't get blown away on the first shot), and be large enough to carry GPI, Labs, and a Ground Party. Is there such a ship?
