Quest FAQ From: quirke_a@ix.wcc.govt.nz Date: Thu, 08 Dec 1994 01:23:17 +0000 I have sitting on my disk the original Quest FAQ done last year, some miscellaneous files and some mail regarding Quest. I was maintaining this actively, but started procrastinating about it about 6 months ago when I found I needed too much time better spent in such activities as work, or reading Usenet. I'm willing to dump a copy of the FAQ (with the bits Bob Cook objected to editted out) along with all the miscellanous stuff (such as a well written guide to theft). If you're interested in maintaining this, please write to me (but don't expect an immediate answer). Looking for someone able to provide: - Enough disk space and mail capacity to cover it (it's about 2000 lines as I recall. - Regular (monthly/bimonthly) posts to rec.games.pbm of the FAQ. - Maintaining a *smaller* version as well, which wouldn't detract from people's enjoyment. Bob Cook suggests this is what gets posted to r.g.p., and the FAQ only be sent out to people who'd specifically ask for it. - Reliable support, with an account which would be available for next year. Any takers ? - Tony Q. --- Tony Quirke, Wellington, New Zealand (email for phone no) "Full fathom five / One day I'll lie, Singing songs that come / from dead men's tongues, Anchor me, anchor me..." - The Muttonbirds Up
