Battletech Type Games in PBM

There are several, two of which I know of first hand and would recommend.

(1)  CENTURION - Fantasy Workshop is the company
                 Moderator is Jeff Gross

This is a game licensed from FASA and almost duplicates CENTURION/RENEGADE
LEGION from FASA.  It incorporates infantry, artillery, orbital fire support,
varying scenarios, and of course, design-your-own grav tanks.

In my opinion, this game is AWESOME.  One of the best around except for
occassional bugs in the code.  Email me directly for more information.

(2)  CTF 2187  - Advanced Gaming Enterprises is the company
                 Moderator is Duane Wilcoxsen

This is a robot-war game fought in an arena between two or four sides,
although there are occassional free-for-alls.  Each player runs one bot, and
has five moves and five attacks per turn.  Very important to be coordinated
with your teammates in this game.

I really enjoy this one, and am commander of the CENTURIONS [TM 46],
undefeated in 10 contests, and extremely disliked by many!  I'd be happy to
provide you information on this game...I can always use a few more targets!
