ARENA: Fight Discussion From: ldavid@utdallas.edu (Dave Larson) Date: Mon, 19 Dec 1994 08:48:15 +0000 The following passage comes from a fight one of my warriors was engaged in last night. Honest! Thor makes his move. Thor executes a stabbing strike at Death's shield arm. Death is too tired to duck the strike. Thor's strike is very effective! Thor's hammer connects with a severe strike to the shield arm! Death seems to be in a lot of pain! With a groan, Thor falls to his knees and begs for mercy! I wish all Death's opponents were as acommodating as Thor. Just when he got him where he wanted he decided to quit! Or maybe the reverberations of the hammer after it hit Death were too much for Thor. I've seen things like this happen before, and I always feel bad for the loser, as soon as I stop laughing! Scott, if you read this, you might fix it so that a gladiator can only give up if he was wounded last. That might prevent this problem. Just a suggestion. Dave -- Up
