I'm currently overwelmed with the job of putting our survey data into a usable format. Even so, I'm considering putting together another issue of the ICR, if there's any interest. I was thinking of waiting until after the rules changes to give the market a chance to adjust. Any thoughts? Hell, Doug still owes me 2 more issues on my subscription to the ICR. Count my vote as interest. Wade, That was why I didn't post any details of the second series, because their very existance had been questionable. If RTG had ruled the other way, then I would've been the first to post the results and admit the loss of VAdm. Graf von Monts... instead, he'll now be recieving a heroes welcome at Jax, and a congradulatory call from the Emperor (ref: IMP profile where it says the Emperor considers the FOE a personal insult). But, ya put up one hell of a defense anyways. To: Any SAM player. 14 Drones were freed from the dungeons of Demon's Gorge. Do y'all want them back? To: GTT PD. 1 "Prisoner" was found in the Dungeons of Demons Gorge. He's in pretty bad shape (mental & physical torture, and all that), but he claims to have been the former GTT colony Governor. What do you want done with him? > ...but this is old news.... (ref: the battle of Upreach) Wade, I'm not upset about it. Let's face it, it just means that i'll get to kick your butt again, and wipe out the FOE fleet a second time. Since in the original battle, I didn't even lose a single ship, perhaps the 2nd time I destroy the FOE fleet, you'll manage to at least kill one Dreadnought. > I hope this is not a picture of what those who fly under the IMP flag > are becoming. It's a one time incident, and but I don't tell others how to play the game. He pays his money just like the rest of us, and I have no business telling him that it's wrong. You or I might feel such, but if he doesn't, that's his right as a player <hmmm... wait a minute, what's this an ITS escape pod? Ludendorf's son didn't die after all?......... nahhh.... he's dead> Steve M. ------------------------------ From: Phil Krauskopf <PKRAUSKOPF@FALCON.AAMRL.WPAFB.AF.MIL> Date: Thu, 05 Jan 1995 09:03:14 -0400 Subject: BSE: AFT ICR -Reply Doug still owes me my first issue (took my check; I got nothing for it!). However, keeping in the spirit with my return to BSE, I've written that money off, and am willing to start from today. However, I definitely will purchase a copy (and contribute to it) when it's available. The Empire offers 2 million stellars for information leading to the return of the Master to the IMP. In addition, the Empire offers 10 (ten) million stellars for the return of the Master. In other words, if the IMP has to do the leg work, the reward is less. No reward will be paid on false information, or information that might have been correct but is no longer accurate. It is hoped that with these additional monies, the Master will soon be located and returned to his prison........." The press conference went on to reveal that the monies would be paid from the ISP PD's office, and that all claimants should contact him. Peak performance. yadda Maddie Mallard mes and aliases in the Quest 125 game? Don't need addresses or phone numbers. I had a tough time with this review because I love Quest, but have gotten to where I hate close-ended games. I chewed and chewed and chewed over it and have a new attitdue and ready to write a kick-ass article. Kerry Harrison said it was fine with you if the article went in his new magazine. Unless I hear different from you, that is where I'll send it. Thanks bazillions! I'd like to see another issue of the ICR, I think it could help jump start trading in the game again. If this alleged AFT ship was indeed landed at a RIP colony then the only law he broke was not reporting the position. Hardly a capitol offense as this RIP colony was well known. And even if guilty of every conceivable offense the SMS has no arresting authority. Why, sir, did you attack one of our ships? They seem to be disappearing from here and there. Hmm I wonder if it is a conspiracy? Also, will the ISS Director be so good as to email me. Also, I received a very nice letter from the owner. Can I recommend the following: I think the player is a newbie and does not understand the politics of the game and common acceptable behavior. Both the ships I spotted were merchant class and they are the kind of ships given to new players. The FET seemed to think the Vercingetorix II was some kind of Survey Cruiser. Seems to me that there is some kind of mix up. If any of you have a real complaint about this player then please email me. I can forward his address as well as provide some current locations for him.
