There's a tutorial on the game in issue #69 of "Flying Buffalo Quarterly". I would say try to avoid fights with player run characters as it could prove hazardous. Try to have many of your characters in on monster kills as they all get points for it. I think that artifacts are described as they appear to a person. Think of how they might appear to one of the characters to see how it might be used. Like open ended games generally, how much you enjoy it is largely related to your own setting and fulfilling of goals (IMO). Up
