Just shuttling 200 gold gold beyond a MOR to a chracter for a Pro Gem gives the charater a much better chance to last out an adventure. That 200 could frequently make a differencebetween 10 ep and death, or 50 ep. That's a large difference in capabilities for the next battle. Another thing to consider is that a few items in the game which are in rather large supply, but expensive, can make a big difference in the treasure low PL characters can carry, ergo they come out of the ___ with a good bit more than thier compatriots, due to the largess from some anonymous sorce. I'd basically come to the consensus opinion myself, but I asked for the input because I so hate pissing people off from afar.
