Well, no, I don't think they are, particularly.  If what you enjoy is
building up your strength, it gets pretty boring if there's nothing to
do with it once you are stronger than everyone around you.  I think that
there's just as much a problem with the "big players" not having
anything to do, as with the "little players" not being able to do the
things they want to do.

Well, Rich would disagree: he thinks that it _is_ in fact reasonable to
hope to design a game that all of the different player types can enjoy
at once.  I remain undecided: it's clearly never been done, but that
doesn't mean it can't be.
