Aren't they guarding their stargates at all. The lowly RIP have damaged a third one! The Periphery Directors of the various companies are getting sick of it. --- Imperial sources have revealed that recent incursions into the Geneb system by vessels from the RIP House of Acoma have awaken Snittians all throughout the Periphery and they are not too happy with the Imps. --- An SMS prospector discovered an asteroid of solid Korondite, but the company is suppressing the news to avoid depressing the price. They're sending ships to every market that's buying any, and will all sell at once. Then they'll be richer than the GTT! --- While enjoying a mug of stimbrew at your favorite bar, you overhear a group of AFT officers raise a toast. Listening closer, you hear "...to Horst Treyder, a traitor if ever there ever was one...may he and his kin rot in hell!" --- Inner Empire scientists have been working on a superior Shield generator since 192 but have met with litle succes. Emperor Jasil is said to be quite displeased with the results. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 21 Jan 1995 16:09:17 -0600 (CST) From: Kerry Harrison <kerry@io.com> To: BSE Mailing List <bse-list@io.com> Cc: bse-l@consensus.com Subject: NOTICE - The List Has Moved Message-ID: <Pine.3.89.9501211615.A13719-0100000@pentagon.io.com> As of now the address to send messages to for the BSE Mailing List is bse-l@consensus.com. In my eyes and in many others, it is the IMP that is cloning, regenerating their admirals. Of course, the obvious uses are not neccesarily the only ones. Those individuals who studied the arts may now owe debts to pay for their education. It is possible that many of these are artists, musicians, actors, or other entertainers that are now endentured servants until they have paid off their debts. This would be in keeping with 10% paying off their debt in any given week. As they are bound by a contract they willingly entered into, it is legal, even if they are controlled almost as tightly as a slave. It is the method to get in, and out that should determine if they are to be considered true slaves. Of course this does not leave out those who provide "traditional" services, from also entering into short term contracts to work in a similar fashion. This is all for RTG, and the current IMPs to consider. I for one hope the issue is settled as it once was in the past (under the great IMP leader by the surname of Krieger), that Pleasure Slaves are not true slaves, rather are contracted employees. It will be of interest mostly to AFT players, but might be entertaining for others as well. The reason that I'm posting this here is that I can mail it out with little cost to myself courtesy of Marriott, so if you'd like a copy send me your snail mail address in a private message. I'll probably mail it out to all the PD's anyway, so no need for any of you to reply unless for some reason you don't want to receive it.
