Help with gzip From: mistrust@lainet.com (Franklin Figueroa) Date: Mon, 30 Jan 1995 07:37:58 +0000 I'm knew to the internet, but I think I'm learning kind of quickly. I've managed to ftp the rules for arena from the ftp site in binary because the file goes like this rules.txt.gz . I also transfered the file gzip.1.2.4.msdos.exe . I then renamed the first to rules.gz and the second to gzip.exe . Here's the problem: I'm a DOS\Windows user. I'm using a Windows SLIP to transfer my files. When I go to dos I type "gzip -d -N -a rules.gz". Then I get a message reading:"Program too large to fit in memory" Anyone else ever have this problem? Can anyone help me.Please e-mail me or post.
