_WHO?_ I've heard of a number of former long-time players, but I've never
heard this name mentioned.

Depends on how you define "dorky" and "interesting", I suppose. (Although
I will certainly agree that a lot of the enjoyment I derive from the game
is more from off-the-board interaction with the other players.)

I'd be interested in hearing some examples of what you consider "dorky" though.
