I'm looking for the best available game for 2 players, stressing strategy and tactics (no arcade elements or flight simulators, please). Preferably something from either modern warfare or the "fantasy empires in conflict" genre. It doesn't need to be the latest thing, however both myself and the friend I wish to challenge have capable multimedia PCs--so if it exists, we can probably run it. We're a local phone call away from each other, so modem-link games would be tasty...although a file-exchange turn-a-night game thang would have some charm too. Any suggestions? I've heard some good things about Empire Deluxe (I think that's the name), would it fit the bill?
