I've asked Steve to email me a copy of hte HCP, if/when he does I'll make it available on the ftpsite. As to an Web site, if anyone wants to provide content I can easily set one up here for BSE as a whole and we can have pages for the various affiliations linked to it. Kerry ------------------------------ From: steve668@dallas.relay.ucm.org Date: Sat, 18 Mar 1995 01:48:44 CST Subject: BSE: A Hit (fwd) Tonite on "Periphery's Most Wanted", we profile that most wanted of all criminals, Fat-Boy, from the company whose name cannot be spoken. But first, to date your tips have led to the apprehension of 1,117,367 criminals. Now a word from our sponsor.......<5 minutes of annoying commercials>............. Tonite on: "Periphery's Most Wanted", we look at the criminal and mass murderer, He whose name cannot be spoken. As former PD of the company whose name cannot be spoken, and together with his cohorts in crime, Bob Cook, Jack Everitt, et al, and using the almost god-like powers of his company, "Fat-Boy" is responsible for the deaths of millions of sentient beings. In this film footage shot at great personal danger to the cameraman, we see fat-boy using his powers to cause the Samillian civil war, in which thousands of Samillians died to his amusement. <film footage here> And here we see the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Gregos as he causes the canally sun to go super nova. Periphery's Most Wanted has obtained proof from every affiliation, of incidents ranging from theft, to the destruction of entire colonies or fleets. In this footage we see the destruction of the entire DTR fleet <footage here> and the hands of this criminal. While in this footage we see the destruction of the Foelian fleet <footage here> at the hands of the Imperial fleet, after being decieved by this criminal. a similar slaughter occured somewhat later as the QSN fleet was duped and destroyed by this criminal at the battle of Soul Cage. we could go on and list all the many instances of murder and theft committed by this criminal, but there are far too many for the scope of this show. "Fat-Boy" comes from the Cohoes star system <mug shot here>. While many humans believe he is Foelian due to his evil, this is not the case. this criminal has stooped to levels which would make even Foebius himself blanche. his accomplises <mug shots of Bob, Jack, Steve, et al> also come from the Cohoes system. All are reported to be humanoids, but this is unconfirmed. It is known that ever since the IMP revoked the charter of his company, and since he lost his god-like special ability powers of his company, he is on the run. Authorities report that he is now in hiding somewhere in the frontier. Help bring this criminal to justice. If you see him <another picture of him> call our tip hotline at 1-80000-123456-1234567890. Next Week on Periphery's Most Wanted, we look at the upcoming dangerous addiction now striking the Periphery: Magic Cards. Who is the evil, twisted mind whois behind this con attempt to defraud citizens of their stellars? ------------------------------ From: Jackmyster@aol.com Date: Sat, 18 Mar 1995 10:50:45 -0500 Subject: BSE: War Zone To : All From: Den of Earth Drell has been declared a *War Zone* by the FGZ. *Any* ships with "Defend/Support QSN" in Drell are subject to destruction. This may seem like a simple question, but what do Crew do? I know you have to have some of them in your Command section for starship operation, but how many do you need? I think they fix battle damage, but do they do anything else? If you never get in a battle, is there any reason you need more than one? Kevin Curnutt/WCE ------------------------------ From: Kerry Harrison <kerry@io.com> Date: Sat, 18 Mar 1995 14:17:54 -0600 (CST) Subject: BSE: Crew? - ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: steve668@dallas.relay.ucm.org Date: Sat, 18 Mar 1995 13:56:41 CST Subject: BSE: Crew? Kevin, If you do not have the minimum of 1 crew PER command hull, the ship cannot move.... it's dead in the water <so to speak>. extra crew also help provide repair points for battle damage (but repairbots work better). Also, extra crew also help absorb some damage should the ship get into battle and be hit in command. Lastly, if you lose all your crew, the ship becomes derelict (further reason for extra crew). Kevin, Korondite coating (not to be confused with using korondite for cloaking ships) is a special tech owned by 2 or 3 colonies in the game (SSL Ax, SMS Canton, and one other I think).
