Writer available

I suppose that this is a rather unusual posting---or perhaps not---but
I'll make it anyway:

Over the past two years I have been the GM for two PBeM games on the
American Civil War.  Though I have enjoyed the experience, I discovered
in the course of running these games that I enjoyed the writing of the
material for the player updates much more than I enjoyed running the
mechanics of the games themselves.  Altogether it was simply too much
of a time commitment, with a large amount of it spent on the one
part---the mechanics---that I took no pleasure in.  However, my
interest in the writing remains.

Therefore, I would like to offer my services to any GM running a PBeM
game on the American Civil War who would like a descriptive writer for
his updates, in order to provide something for the player beyond the
usual "gamese" writing such as "3rd Virginia takes 5 casualties, falls
back, etc."

Since my main area of knowledge pertains to the American Civil War,
please do not contact me about other historical periods.  In such an
event, I am afraid I would not be able to offer the same level of
service.
