Hold up on the Nevers.  Edi Birsan has been sending a lot of very good replies
to the Legends mailing list recently.  One of the things they are looking
at for future implementation is Item location, by Rumormongers, Spys and by
spell.  They have already implemented a method for the GMs to find an item,
this was done for the Crown games where a particular item (the Crown!) was
needed and it was impossible to find.
