He had been beaten, stabbed, shot, sliced, diced, folded, stapled and mangled. Authorities are not sure whether this occured before or after he died. The cause of death has been determined to be the hole blown right through him. A number of men identified as members of the SSL were seen leaving the scene moments before the body was discovered, but people in the area seemed reluctent to talk about it. "He got what was comin' to 'im!" one witness was heard to say. Don Guido had this to say when confronted; "What're ya askin' me for? Whadda ya think I am, some kinda criminal?" But it is not the DTR alone which denies us the ability to build or operate colonies in the common systems. This is a policy of the TCA as a whole for which you must all bear responsibility. You have the right to set any policy you want but what the companies find gauling is the expectation of full access to the Periphery in spite of the TCA policy of exclusion. The AFT had a full access charter with the TCA for which we paid good Stellars. Perhaps you can suggest from whom we can get our money back. As far as the DTR being able to defend their policies...they were able to get a message into this forum once, I assume they can do it again Mikel Lloyd AFT Negotiator ------------------------------ From: v176@rex.uokhsc.edu (Todd D. I do think 'All IND' should be >targetable. My reasoning is that if you wish to only allow certain known >groups to not be attacked, you need a handle to say 'get everyone else'. I would buy that as long as it did apply to 'everyone else', which might include a new alien race which no one has heard of. If the DTR wishes to greet them with missiles and beams, that's their problem, but I think it should be a trade-off associated with targeting <all-IND>. ------------------------------ From: Ron.Kleinman@Eng.Sun.COM (Ron Kleinman) Date: Mon, 3 Apr 1995 10:40:00 -0700 Subject: BSE: Re: BSE Digest V195 #128 >>FROM:WARLORD,QSN DEF. >> VICE ADMIRAL >> LORD ASAKURA SOTEKI >> >>TO:ALL IND >> >> >> ANY IND SHIP COMING IN TO DRILL WILL INFORMED >>ME.ALL ATTACE IN DRILL AS BEEN BY IND SHIP! The system in question is 'Drell', not 'Drill'. The Lord Admiral appears to be warning off independent ships, based on the current FGZ uncertainties. Based upon the firepower he controls, this announcement should be taken seriously. The Qumans are not solely a 'Quman based' race. It used to be that you moved to the edge of the blackhole, but that was in the days of hex maps when the blackholes were bigger. And TNU's go in the command section, right? Example QSN, the WaSP own a outpost on Alippon and you want it. Normally one enters into trade relations before aquiring the item but not the QSN! For relations the WaSP gave the QSN a very good and fair price for that outpost that you stole and you agreed to send the stellars to our political position. Today QSN, we looked at our political report and you have not sent the stellars. QSN, look into your history and every time you have crossed the WaSP you have lost colonys, fleets, and ships that amount to 10 times your aquired item. A man is seen addressing the media...) ...that is crap, lots of crap, a whole steamin' heap of crap, trouble finding transport my eye. I was physically detained by the Imperial Gestapo when I landed to negotiate my clients surrender to the authorities. You all saw the attempted assassination of my clients. Heavily armed and armored troops attacking three innocent men, gassing them into near unconsciousness. I am almost sorry to be a human when I see the barbarity of our government and how it treats the presumed innocents of this galaxy. My god, did you see the tapes of my clients in court for their arraignments. Obviously beaten and tortured in order to obtain a confession. But, my clients did not confess, because they have nothing to confess to. I am here today to demand better treatment for my clients as well as all Imperial prisoners and to ask how much longer must the citizens of this great empire have to put up with the legal lawlessness and terror that is these stormtroopers wearing the black and gold. Back in the Inner Empire such treatment of prisoners and the general populace in general would not be allowed. The Emperor would not allow such disrespect for his citizens from mere civil servants. But, I am here with my associates to see that our clients are given medical attention, better quarters and living conditions, and most importantly a fair trial before an impartial bar of qualified jurists. Now, are there any questions? CNS: Mr. Bongwater, given the charges lodged against your clients do you believe they will be killed tomorrow or the day after? No...(dammit!)...they are innocent. Nobody is going to execute them. Next question. API: Will you and the defense team be leaving before or after the execution? Afte...(doh!) There isn't going to be ANY EXECUTION!!! Next! UPI: If you do stay til after will there be a wake? And if so, will there be doughnuts? THERE ISN'T GOING TO BE A EXECUTION! You media people are obsessed with my clients' demise. They are innocent men. And, yes, a doughnut would be nice. Next question? CPT: Is there any truth to the rumors that the ISP has called on Col. Ace Krieger to conduct the interrogations? Will he have anything to do with the execution? Ace Krieger is an animal, and you all know it. The things he is just rumored to have done to prisoners and job applicants is too disgusting to repeat in public. I will most vividly protest his involvement in any proceedings regarding my clients. And, I repeat myself, there is not going to be any execution. Last question, please. RING: Do you know if the execution will be televised? When should our readers tune in? ARRRGGGGHHHHH! That's it! You people make me sorry to be human. I want to see my clients right now. Get outta my way.
