The Last Empire

Hello!

I'm Jorge Costa, and i'm Portuguese.

And i decided to post an announce to a very great PBM
that runs in Portugal. There are also some foreign
players, playing already.
The game is called The Last Empire, and it's based on
the Star Wars and in some computer games like Millenium.
The official language of the game is English.
A basicaly it is as follows:

You start by chosing a name for your Lord, a nation name,
and a race. For example, I'm Saruman (Lord) of Isengard
(nation). And in the begining you start with one planet.
With have the minimum structures to begin. Some factorys,
one lab, some drillers, some Orbital defenses...
The race you can choose one of the following:
Hobbits.
Elves.
Dwarfs.
Yendi (a race that looks like hobbits but like colder
places, very bellow zero)
Thargoid. (Like humans but breed Hydrogen)
Xenomorph (Like Aliens in the James Cameron film)
Viperons (Like lizards in the TV series , V)
Orcs.

And then, after this you will get a very complete
manual to play the game. The game is very complex,
or else i would not play it anyway, and you will
have to learn lots of things that are not in the
manual.

The gamemaster is responsible for making a monthly
newspaper that sends to the players every turn
reporting what has happend of most importance in the
galaxy.

In real time, you have to send a disk, of TurnSheet,
with your move, every two weeks. The game is not
expensive, even for Portuguese !

I'm not the game master, and i'm not working for
him to announce the game. I was just reading the
newsgroup and thougth, "Well, lets make the world
know the best PBM in Portugal"

PS- By the way in the game i am Saruman of Isengard.
I belong to an organisation called Iron Ring. It's
essencial to belong to one this days. The galaxy,
Milky Way, is at war!
