TAC AIR umpired PBEM From: bpgm@unixg.ubc.ca (Brent Pollock) Date: Sat, 22 Apr 1995 00:00:00 +0000 Originally, I posted this to rec.games.board and simultaneously tried to cross-post it to rec.games.pbm - apparently I muffed it (received a bounce message for the cross-post only and read my message on rec.games.board)...so here it is. If any of you are interested in participating in an umpired multi-player PBEM match of Avalon Hill's boardgame TAC AIR (ownership of a copy required) please reply by e-mail (bpgm@unixg.ubc.ca - just in case it isn't included in the header). Plenty of "Fog-of-War" promised but you must be willing to play for many, many months (with concurrent loss of table space, if you wish to keep your map set up). Mention such things as: 1. preferred command (any ground HQ or airforce coordinator) 2. preferred scenario 3. whether or not you own the expansion counters included with GENERAL Vol. 25, No. 2 4. if YOU would like to umpire and let ME play a command 5. experience level I'll keep your e-mail addresses on file and contact you after I've completed umpiring a similar match of Avalon Hill's MBT (you might not hear anything further for a few months). The game would probably commence in the late summer/early fall 1995. Brent Pollock Up
