Re: MIDDLE EARTH- via E mail! From: "Robert E. Bolin" <draugnar@iglou.com> Date: Fri, 21 Apr 1995 00:00:00 +0000 The game is run by Game Systems Inc. They have both snail mail and e-mail turn distribution, as of 5/1/95. The e-mail distribution will be by PDF file which is readable under Adobe Acrobat. The game is a human game, with a computer as GSI processing the turns and spitting out maps and character images. The turn generator is just a simple database system that checks basic things like a character knowledge of a spell or posession of an artifact or skill capabilities and how far a character or army moves, then dumps a text file that looks like the preprinted turnsheet and can be printed or e-mail to GSI. GSI can be contacted at gmsystminc@aol.com for more free info on the game. If you like Tolkien, you'll probably enjoy the game. I know I do.
