New: Aris' Hand (free, open-ended, email, human, fantasy, rpg) From: donotreply@pbm.com (PBM List Autoposter) Date: Tue, 10 Oct 2006 19:13:01 +0000 Name: Aris' Hand Email: parakyte zat yahoo.ca Frequency: two per week URL: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/aris_hand/ Type: fantasy role playing Last-Update: 2006Oct07 Keywords: free, open-ended, email, human, fantasy, rpg Description: Aris' Hand is an exploration of deception and narrative intrigue in the PBEM format. It is set in the city of Asgra in the world of Tera'Fir, an ongoing project contributed to by the creators and players of this game and others. A party of brave but inexperienced heroes has been hired to track down a priceless but poorly-understood treasure from Asgra's past. But what have they found? And what does it mean for their world? Well, there's only one way to find out. Don't expect Aris' Hand to be a simple game of heroic conquest. Don't expect evil to be simple or even beatable. Do expect to be disoriented, at first, by the reality we have created over the past two years. Also expect to help us to fold that reality into something new and exciting. Yes, there are villians, and yes, they are truly awful, and yes, they can be beaten. But only by you. Aris' Hand is based on D&D 3.5 ed rules, modified to fit the format and story. The game trots along as fast as the DM team can keep up, a few posts per player per week. If you think you have what it takes, have a look through our archives and see if this looks like the game for you. Email me and I'll find you a spot.
