Unfortunatly, we cannot provide any additional information as to it's construction. Upon my return to the TH, I was "given" Govonership of NeverWhere and we have no records of any such ship was built at our shipyards. It should be pointed out that two other FGZ colonies (at that time) could build BS. FGZ Flagritzville and FGZ Jack's Folly. Both of these colonies were under the control of Ruler V'Ril, so it is more than possible he built that ship prior to his return to the FOE. I would like to point out that the FGZ hold the construction of BSs in the strictest of confidence, but since I have no records of this ship's construction, I do not consider this a Flargritz ship. IF any additional IND BSs "appear", we would like to add our ships to their destruction. We take BS ownership (as with all FGZ tech) very seriously! I suggest to every Aff either blow the BS to bits yourselfs, if you can, or capture it as it will make a fine addition to any fleet. Don't depend on the FGZ as they will probably lose half their fleet, through carelessness, just getting to your position. I also can't believe the FGZ takes BS ownship seriously if they didn't even know the ship existed (so they claim) or who built it. The AFT was attacked for passed 'injustices' according the human who contacted my staff. I find it interesting that the ISP refused to defend the AFT. A yacht was destroyed in the space square while 5 ISP DN's did nothing. Two SoL's were engaged in orbit and both were gutted and fled (hardly losing if the limited data the human sent is to be believed). It looks to be like there are at least some humans willing to take great risks for great rewards. Too bad they failed to cause and significant damage (such failure is all too human). While I can respect their bravery, such unintelligent beings are not appropriate allies for the FOE. The forces on Hammerfest helping the Celtians have restrained them from attacking. It has lead to needless deaths. If the IMP are bound and determined to escalate the conflict and have given up on negotiating a settlement, the troops at Undersea Base will help the Celtians defend themselves. A demonstration can be arranged to prove the Celtians have at least a limit ability to strike at the invading IMP fleet. If a peaceful settlement is desired, please feel free to contact me and will use what little influence that I have to help. Fight warriors and die bravely. Demon, By "lost", we mean disabled, crippled, unable to flee, trapped. Need further definintion? > forces on Hammerfest helping the Celtians have restrained them from attacking. Whips on the backs of the Celtian POW's is hardly "helping" them. The Celtian Resistance Movement prefers the help of the allied powers, and they seem very eager to attack to regain their planet from the demon invaders. > If the IMP are bound and determined to escalate > the conflict and have given up on negotiating a settlement, the troops at > Undersea Base will help the Celtians defend themselves. A demonstration > can be arranged to prove the Celtians have at least a limit ability to strike > at the invading IMP fleet. Please do. The more resources you expend beating your head against a brick wall, the easier you make it for the Celtians to retake their home. > If a peaceful settlement is desired, please feel free to > contact me and will use what little influence that I have to help. Northcape is IMP territory. You are the invader. You want a settlement? Okay, pull out now and withdraw from Northcape, and your troops MIGHT survive to fight another day. 3AD has reached 100% of it's combat assets on the ground, and according to our Celtian Underground Liason, now surpasses the forces you used to attack Undersea Base. 49AD is at 35%, 9th IR is at 67%. Your time is running out. For years we IMP refused to build a base in Northcape due to the great benefit to all races, of the Celtian Farm tech, so that even those who were our enemies could benefit (although there is no word in the demon language for this, this is called "humanitarian"... we did not wish to see any living creature suffer from lack of food). Your actions have changed this. After we retake the colony and return it to the Celtian race, We will build a military base on Hammerfest so that the Celtians will never have to fear enslavement again. Graf von Monts ------------------------------ From: Jackmyster@aol.com Date: Sun, 30 Apr 1995 17:20:41 -0400 Subject: BSE: Strickly Roleplaying You know, the debate about roleplaying has been raging for quite sometime. I (and my players) have tried to maintain a "roleplaying" stance, but we've fallen short. I believe part of the problem is that blessed phone. Got a problem? Pick it up and solve it. The other problem is that it takes a lot of "energy" to approuch this game from a "role playing" stance only. I've a great deal of respect for those "groups" who've tried to do everything from a "roleplaying" stance, as I believe most of us do. (The EKN, SAM, WSP...just to name a few) So, from now on, Jack Ferguson is going to be "dead" to the game. Any commincation to me needs to be done via Den of Earth. I will ask that everyone try to honor this request by either e-mailing Den or USnailing him, as I don't want to cross that "border". Hopefully, this will increase the "enjoyment" of those who are FGZ, and those who deal with us. (I'm hoping it will make my "gaming" more fun as well...) This is just an honest assesment of my roleplaying in the past. Anyone is welcomed to send me their thoughts on the idea. If you go back and read what I said you will see that you are misunderstanding me. What I said was "It is too bad the FGZ can't be responsible for their ships <<<before>>> they fall into the wrong hands..." What I was trying to get at is there must be something fishy going on in the FGZ for this IND BS to appear. FGZ forbiddens the trade or sale of of BSs. I quote a FGZ law from their profile "No Flagritz technology or ships may be sold, traded, or transferred to any person or race other than a Flagritz." At this time I would like to point out that HUMANS were in control of the ship. If the ship were captured I would expect the Den of Earth to know about it as they take ownership so seriously and BSs don't appear out of the vacuum of space. It is YOU Den of Earth who seems feel responsible by offering to help hunt them down. Or is it you want to make sure it is destroyed and not captured? The main point I was trying to make is that you claim that you take BS ownership seriously, but you didn't even notice one missing!!!!! Maybe we should start looking at IND colonies to see if they are actually misplaced FGZ colonies. Seriously though, I think the top FGZ brass should do an inventory of their ships to see what they reallllllllllly have. I would be interested to know the results. (I never will though.) The results may worry a few FGZ members. > > Yeah, why don't you attack BSs...I'm sure any IND BS would love to blow away > a couple of little, puney, stinken SoLs.
