Noa [OOC] I heard from the GMs that to install the tech, the ship must issue a 30 TU special action. Now, I travel a lot so I don't want to work out some elaborate selling routine. I want everyone to be able to get the tech without waiting for me to setup / submit a pickup code or anything. So, I want to try the following steps if you want to purchase Double Life Support: 1) Land the desired ship(s) at the colony 2) Transfer the proper amount of funds to the colony: a) 5,000 stellars per ship if AFF is a member of the ACCC b) 10,000 stellars per ship if AFF is not a member of the ACCC 3) Issue the special action to have the tech installed Thad, (or anybody) do you see anything wrong with this idea? I know I'm vulnerable to someone landing and issuing the special action without paying, but since I will know EXACTLY who is in the starport, who transfered money to me and who got the tech, you know that I will request the EEM and the Imperials post the position. I know that doesn't bother some people, but, oh well, that's the only "threat" I have.<g> Since the tech can't be transferred to another ship, it won't work sending in a IND ship, grabbing the tech and giving it to another ship. However, I think this will work well. I simply don't want players who want the tech to have to wait for me to issue colony orders for them to get it. Take Care. To be honest, we forgot about him entirely. I would point out that he was not a Quman, but a WCE patriot so he had five not six fingers. Jim, Yes, I did the forms and yes, they are passworded. I did that for two reasons. First, I wanted to keep the forms universal for RTG's sake. Second, I had considered making them shareware and was toying with some additional upgrades myself that would have really had some value-add. Obviously I haven't done this and there are some changes I want to make to the originals myself. I would be happy to discuss the changes you would like to see and implement those we (and anyone else that wants to participate) agree on. It is a proud day in QSN history and we look forward to doing extensive business at our new colony. QSN Viking should be quickly geared up to produce all classes of QSN ships. I don't want to offend, but I run EEM Eagle and how I came to run it is nobody's business except mine and RTG. I am responding to this message [OOC] because it was posted [ooc], so I take it that someone feels that "something" was done incorrectly or improperly. If you feel that way, contact the GMs and ask them because, for the record, I will NEVER explain [OOC] how I aquired any position I own and run. Nor should any player feel that they have to justify their actions to anyone except the GMs. Regards, Jim Gagliardi ------------------------------ From: "Cap'n Scragg" <scragg@infi.net> Date: Sat, 20 May 1995 22:43:45 +0000 Subject: Re: BSE: KZK CC News & More (BOUNCED MESSAGE) >We also find it very interesting that a state such as the Flagritz >Republic would openly back an known outlaw affiliation such as the RIP in >their attacks on shipping and other assets inside the Stellar Empire's >Capellan Periphery territories. Some races don't give a rats butt about the Stellar Empire and don't consider themselfs inferior to the IMP like the KZK. If you had half the spirit, pride, and honor as your SAM cousins you would be fighting the IMP government for what they did to the KZK in the past insdead of cowering like children (or would that be hatchlings) in the presence of the IMP. No bug breath go burrow into a nice safe little hole and sell a few more Cargo Carriers so I have some good targets to shoot at.
