Jim G. ------------------------------ From: NoaKrieger@aol.com Date: Sun, 21 May 1995 23:22:24 -0400 Subject: BSE: Double Life Support [OOC] Thanks to the good people at RTG, you can purchase the Double Life Support Tech easily from EEM Eagle. EEM Eagle's position number is 1822 and it is located on the planet Fairway in the Bluecrab (24) System. To get the tech, perform the following steps: 1) Land the desired ship(s) at the colony 2) Transfer the proper amount of funds to the colony: a) 5,000 stellars per ship if AFF is a member of the ACCC b) 10,000 stellars per ship if AFF is not a member of the ACCC 3) Issue the special action to have the tech installed That's all there is to it! Take Care. Brad, IND Eagle wasn't "alien". It was always human, and was governed by Retired ISP Star Admiral Watson. The Gregos that live at Eagle, and provide Double life support are just a part of the total population of Gregos that were evacuated from Eolmy before Canally went supernova. There are even Gregos at ISS Secudus. Geoff, SF always hit the section they target, but within that section only have a base 80% chance of hitting the ship. While less accurate than colonies (with the luxury of almost unlimited space) or capital ships, a smaller ship which could not mount the BC & Sen. to match the targetting % of say a M-o-W, or a WC, or a DN, will find them more accurate. They have their uses, at the proper place and time. One other thing, other than missiles, they are the only thing that can be used in colony-vs-colony battles. > I note that they have their own onboard guidance computers. Jim, I thought that I had the lengths pretty well sized to the available space. What I had thought of doing was reducing the point size to increase the available characters. I'll take a closer look at things tonight or tomarrow. As to the extra sheet, I know. I have tried all sorts of things to get rid of that but it seems to be an artifact of the page being a form. If you, or anyone else has any suggestions on this one, I'd love to hear them.
