So it is actually IND Demon Catcher (4376) renamed? Or was the data sent me about the attack on Ogygia backwards (ie Demon Catcher is the GP)? Yep, they're backwards alright. This is what my latest ship turn shows the AFT posted list to be: IND Ground Party DEMON CATCHER(4376), IND SHIP ATLANTIS(4735) Thom Payne ------------------------------ From: "Scragg" <scragg@infi.net> Date: Tue, 23 May 1995 08:15:49 +0000 Subject: Re: BSE: e-mail turns? >Joe, >Will you be u/l'ing your macros (in Aug.) for use with the email turn, to >Kerry's FTP site? >Steve After I make them I'll upload them. This would give your hunters a unfair advantage in locating your positons and may aswner some of your questions of responce time and locating your positions. I can forward the report to RTG if you wish. The numbers you initially recieved were the correct ones. 4376 is the ship, 4735 was the GP. This is at least, according to the Governor of Ogygia before it fell. 2272 was the number of the GP in the recent attack on the planet Teran-Zei in the Newbian system. If the Demon Catcher (possibly renamed) was the ship that dropped it off, I suggest we actively pursue this vessel and eliminate it. Disregard my last message. Apparently the colony governor of Ogygia mixed up the numbers when reporting the incident. Demon Catcher (the GP) is 4376, and hopefully destroyed. Can anyone confirm the continued existence of this GP? Atlantis (the ship) is 4735, and has now dropped off its second GP for the purpose of colony capturing. There may be more. Date: 95-05-23 17:00:07 EDT Has anyone else here experienced a glitch in colony production during week 18? In two of my colonies (the only ones I have received printouts so far), there was an unexplained -10 morale in each colony due to 'lack of housing'. Apparently many colonies had the problem, he had heard from others before me. There appeared to be some miscalculation of the colony population when checking for housing and env dome effects. Thad assured me he'd look into it right away. This list would seem to be a great way for the gms to let us know when these things happen, so we don't all waste our time (and theirs) telling them things they already know. I have. Not only did I get the -10 for housing shortage, but I also lost all of my morale complexes except +2 from Merch Comp. News here reporting on recent events at SMS Canton, Rick D. Racer Jr, starcaptain of the Musclecars4ever2, competing at the reserected sport of ground vehicle races at Canton scored his first victory this past week in only his 6th start. While he is still a Rookie this year, he is looking like a force to be recond with as the season unfolds. Interestly enough, immediatly after the race, a SMS crew member with combat flashes approched him, and both he, and his crewchief, Restin Peace of the A.Kulwicki4ever, both left the track at top speed. Both Battleships were seen taking on final stores and left the starport without waiting for the pleasentries of goodbyes. No one is saying anything about this strange behavior, but the only time warships leave orbit this quickly from Canton is after recieving a distress signal stating RIP were involved. I. B. News SMS Prospective News Agency OOC: Yes folks, I did score my first victory this past friday, and things are looking up. I moved up to 9th in the season points and am going to be moving up more as I get the handling improved. Richard, it was nice visiting with you last week, the view of the bay was great. Glad we could share some info, and do some business. ------------------------------ End of BSE Digest V195 #190 *************************** BSE Digest - All items Copyright (c) 1995, by their respective authors, permission is granted to redistribute as long as proper credit is given.
