ATLANTISv2 atl-players-digest #75 From: csd@microplex.com (Christian Daudt) Date: Tue, 30 May 1995 00:00:00 +0000 I thought I was going to get thousands of responses asking me to keep this digest (maybe I just wanted to massage my ego ;-)) But I received enough responses, so I'll keep the digest going. ---------------------------------------------------------- From: "D.J. I would expect that fishermen would be able to produce while at sea. It standsto reason, doesn't it? It may cost a movement turn, ie weigh anchor and get fishing, then move off the next turn?? Training?? Well the men don't really have much to do, unless sailing is a 24 hour thing? I would like to think they could get training. However, where are they gonna get the food to survive the training period? Rations could be tight!!!! As for Working? Who is gonna pay them? The dolphins???? It has however, come to light, that several spell description sent to me are quite dubious, although well written, they may be false. I ask all fellow adventurers who are part of this syndicate to simply check inwith me, which spells they sent to me so I can tick them off. Holders of the password, please use it so I can recompile the Mage list. Anyone trying to get away with using A password that is not genuine will be marked down in the Black book for further note! Help us help you! If the spells that we are trading with each other have been forged, we need toknow before we start making grave studying errors. The main contributors know the password and should mail me ASAFP. Unless you have a reason to be secretive, do REVEAL FACTION on your units. This makes communication so much easier and reduces the noice level on this list (to which I just contributed). I suggest that REVEAL FACTION be made the default setting for new units. I suspect that the reason most units currently have their faction hidden is that they simply forgot to do REVEAL FACTION. -- \Anders -- The Mauve Marauders (59) ---------------------------------------------------------- From: Niclas Olofsson <m93nol@student.tdb.uu.se> Date: Tue, 30 May 1995 15:36:57 +0200 Subject: Re: Giving units to other factions. Otherwise the unit (with no people left) will go poof next turn and the stuff will be given to one of your units in the same hex if you have one. If you have several other units in the hex you might not have the stuff auto-given to the right one, which could be embarrassing if the recieving unit were to issue an ATTACK the same turn (HEY, where are my swords???).
