Did the RIP > capture these Drones? ( I normally thought Bugs killed themselves rather > than being captured by Humans). Lord McKenzie, Not true. The ISP currently possess 61 Drones who are the survivers of a PGJ crew, captured aboard their ship. These Drones will be turned over to the SAM, at their convenience. Further, another dozen or so were freed from the slave pens of FOE Demons Gorge. These will also be turned over to the SAM. We suspect the Drones found at Demon's Gorge (now IMP Agate) were PGJ also, as the PGJ are known supporters of the FOE. Since the RIP are allies of the FOE, perhaps the drones you found are also PGJ. In any case, we recommend that you turn them over to the SAM and let them sort it out. How, > on earth, does a TRN ship make the posting list when everyone is supposed to > pick an AFF by turn 3? The player would have had to work like mad or been a > tad bit careless to so. Dave, Pure accident. I had sent in a list of RIP ships to be added to the posted list. One was an RIP *seed ship* that I had scanned at Allipon. Apparently, in the time between my scanning the ship, and sending in the posting request, the ship was disbanded and removed from the game, or destroyed. Either way, the game computer re-issued the ship number to a TRN position, and that's how it ended up on the list. I'm already sending in a turn to remove it & GTT Southern Cross (used to be a RIP colony). It's just a minor nuisance in the game system, that it re-issues numbers. The New Rules in the chapter on Starships, say specifically that hull dmamage can only be repaired by Repair complexes. I figured this change was going in with the new rules. If not, then Thad needs to fix the rules. The purpose of the GP was to sell items to people who just purchased ships, items that said colony may already sell, while your GP was still in the colony. You then admit to hiring an agent that attempted to gather restricted information about the same colony, before looking for an illegal black market and got caught. And now you imply that the QSN are overreacting to the situation? Son, you're lucky all he is doing is fining you 500,000! I know people who would have smashed your GP, shot your agent, posted your ship and kicked your dog. If you don't have the stellars, you better get your ass outa Dodge and don't look back. Further, another dozen or so Depends on whose Drones you're talking about and/or what class ship they are serving on. SAM/WSP/PGJ Drones on Cargo Carriers will self-destruct their ships rather then allow the ship (and themselves) to be captured. SAM/WSP/PGJ Drones on other classes of ships will allow themselves to be captured. KZK Drones on any class of ship will self-destruct the ship to keep it from falling into enemy hands. Any Drones at a colony or in a GP can be captured. Hence, you must be I'll answer this out of character since it touches on some things you wouldn't know in character. First off K'zk Kasrith-kazereckii (aka the KZK Central Command) never sent any such message to Horst Treyder or the WCE. I, as (Kerry Harrison) sent a message to you (Phil Krauskopf) commenting that war was coming and asking if you felt the WCE was ready for it. Please try to keep OCC & IC straight in the future. As for what resources the KZK have - you haven't clue what assets the KZK started with and have managed acquire by various means since I took over running them. As for alliances - the KZK are not allied with QSN nor do I ever intend to allow them to be - the QSN have more then enough power in their sphere of influence and I have no intention of adding to it. The KZK are however allied with the PFM, which is at this time the only alliance the KZK have (and it's more of a technology & trade alliance then military but does include several militar provisions). As for the KZK - WCE relations, the KZK don't care much for the WCE at this time (this dates back to the KZK being approached by WCE players interested in trading for several items and then the sudden WCE cold shoulder and destruction of the stargate in Porkamo) - from a role-playing point the KZK would be more then justified in attacking the WCE as the KZK can't really distguished between trade & war (i.e. in our worldview they look the same, but for some reason the humans consider the limited subset of war known as trade acceptable but war is not - or this is how we understand what the Imperials have messaged to us), but theirs another role-playing reason called the Imperials that has put a check on the KZK's natural reaction to the preceived WCE insult. We have received notification that this ground party and ship were there are a routine trading mission. We proceeded to warn this captain and his GP leader that no GP's were allowed on Oududs. The starcaptain neglected to mention that he had put an agent there, until we confronted him with the information. Further, he lied again and said that he was only looking for the blackmarket. We can forgive new starcaptains for little mistakes. But we will not tolerate lies. We detected agent activity in a couple of different rings. Such missions do not match with supposed blackmarket interactions. I believe all guilty parties were apprehended. As for the Warlox's demands, I can not speak to as the defense of Drell is in his capable hands. If the starcaptain feels like coming COMPLETELY clean, then we would be more than happy to make sure he is taken cared of.
