(*)- One person sent out a copy of their turn report to their allies and I
somehow got a copy.  Truly hilarious, since the guy is trying (and failing) to
steal from a couple of people.

if Unit A attacks unit B and B has ally C in
same hex, but C has stealth rank higher
than A's observation rank. Will A be able
to attack C during combat?

It seems that some people still haven't received
turns for August. probably if we all have a little
patience Geoff will send them out today or tomorrow.

I don't think we all want to read about who hasn't received
a turn.

I have not yet received mine either.  I'm starting to exhibit

I just started in this game but will not be receiving my
first report until next turn :(.

I've read all the startup docs but have a request I would
like to make to some kind and generous player.  Could someone
send me a copy of their report? Or a copy of an old report?
This would help my learning greatly. If something is highly
confidential you could edit it out and I wouldnt show it to anyone
else of course.

You know, I did not get mine either.

Yet I have an ally that is about 200 faction numbers lower the
myself that did get his. He did not get the Times though. Looks
like it stopped somewhere in it s run.

If C does not have avoid combat set, then he will join the battle on B's
side.  Stealth has no effect on the battlefield; if C joins the battle then
he is just as subject to attack as B (and A).

Something happened while the reports were being sent out, and
factions number greater than 435 didn't have their reports
sent. In addition, the times was not sent to anyone. I've
started sending them out now; they all should be sent in the
next few hours.

Subject: Clarifications on the rules

I have a couple of questions about how the rules operate in certain
circumstances (Geoff?)

For Horse mounted movement, a horse can carry 20 weight units, so I
assume that a unit with one horse and two Elves can move at riding
speed?

If I have two units, one with one man, one with one man and a horse,
and the two units are both leaving in the same direction, will both
units move at riding speed, or only the one with the horse?

If both units move at riding speed, then suppose that I have 19 men
in various units, and all want to move in the same direction, but
amongst them there are only 9 horses, will the whole group be held
to walking speed for the one extra man?  If the man stays put, and
the other 18 characters (with 9 horses) moves out, will they all
move at riding speed?

On another topic, if I set the GUARD flag on a unit, will the unit
be prevented from Studying/Working/other month-long activities?
Reading the rules, it doesn't seem like it should, but a player
with a much lower faction number than mine told me that it would.

Thanks for the help.  BTW, the turn report did come in today, just
9 or 10 hours later than usual.
