ATLANTISv2 atl-players-digest #87 From: csd@microplex.com (Christian Daudt) Date: Fri, 09 Jun 1995 00:00:00 +0000 I thought I was going to get thousands of responses asking me to keep this digest (maybe I just wanted to massage my ego ;-)) But I received enough responses, so I'll keep the digest going. ---------------------------------------------------------- Date: Thu, 8 Jun 1995 12:24:23 GMT From: Anthony.Chow@cet.co.jp (Anthony Chow) Subject: ATLANTIS2.0 And Lo, tell me dear sir, what has become of the Southern Empire? This is a HUGE ####### # # # ## # # # # # # # # # ## # # # # ###### # # # # # ## # # # ###### # # # ## # # # # # # ## # # # # # # # # # # # to everyone who mailled me with the correct orders, which I will use this turn. As with almost all my mail, there is an ulterior motive. I have had hassles with the old mailbox the past week and several quarters have been getting the same mail from me numerous times. If you have received any duplicate mail from me, I apologise and would like you to tell me so, so I can figure the problem out. Special thanx for John Bollinger who originally pointed this out, Cheers John! Maybe it could be at your end?? In any regards : THANKS ALL ROUND!!! Date: Thu, 08 Jun 1995 23:15:46 -0100 Well, this question is not of utmost importance, but I am curious anyway :) In the rules it says that the correct way to create new units is something like: #ATLANTIS 999 ... UNIT 555 FORM 1 NAME UNIT "Hi! I am test1" BUY 10 HEL END FORM 2 NAME UNIT "Hi! test2 here..." BUY 5 HEL END CLAIM 1000 GIVE NEW 1 600 GIVE NEW 2 300 .... #END So,this is the general form, which seems to work. However I am wondering if this alternate way of "giving" new units money also works /*****I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WORKS,SO PLEASE DONT USE IT!*******/ #ATLANTIS 999 ... UNIT 555 FORM 1 NAME UNIT "test1" CLAIM 600 ;new order location:The un-numbered unit is claiming money. Is ;this possible? Or will the SIL go to creating unit ? (555) BUY 10 HEL END ... #END Do un-numbered units (only created after your report) get to CLAIM as well as others,or do they have to be GIVEn the SIL? Note that I am not asking if a unit with a number is allowed or not to CLAIM,which it can (methinks...),I am asking if upon creation,it is allowed,or must it be given the SIL from another unit. If these so called "poice" can't back up thier information, they better be very carefull about not getting found out, or perhaps just for interest I might see how good an assasin I have !!!!!!!
