[PBEM News] The Hunt of The Wardens

Anger gleamed in the old man�s eye as he stared at the young lord
sitting before him. His features were old and rugged and they
reminded of a mountain, old, wind scarred, rough, and hard. His left
eye had been removed in a knife fight years ago, and the scar still
remained on his forehead and a bit of his check that wasn�t covered
by his thick gray beard.

�You are new to our order, but the Captain Commander wants you to lead
this mission, though I cannot say why.� His face twisted as he spoke
as if his tongue burnt with each word, Nedwar hated him since he had
first arrived for his training. �He seems to think highly of you, and
you are lucky in this matter, so you will lead the Wardens out after
this assassin and you bring him back, one way or another.�

The night before a single assassin had managed to get past the
sentries at the gate, steal his way through the keep and murder the
Lord General of the Wardens. Luckily as the assassin killed the Lord
General in his guest study the Lord Captain and First Banner had
entered. The man had been garbed all in black even over his face a
dark cowl was drawn and nothing could be seen of his features.

The man fled upon seeing them and the two gave chase to him but he
managed to run off before they could capture him, but the First
Banner had slashed a mighty blow across his shoulder. When the
Wardens notified the Gate Keepers it had been too late a man had
already been through the eastern gate with a badly bloodied shoulder.
Now it was time for revenge and the six Wardens were riding after the
assassin and take his life for the life he had taken.

Hello,

I am looking for five or six players to play these Wardens hunting
down the assassin. One player will be the young lord in command, the
other four or five will be more experienced Wardens. I am looking for
a collection of different warriors, from the grizzled, grumpy old
warrior to the young charming chauvinist cherry.

The player who plays the Lordling I will work out House info with you
individually. Also only human characters please, and no magic either,
this is a medieval game with only a touch of fantasy.

Character creation info:
- 3rd Ed (or 3.5)
- 78 Points Amongst Stats
- Young noblemen Level 1 or 2 (Fighter or Aristocrat)
- Bannermen  Level 4 or 5 (Fighter or Ranger)
- Wardens Level 2 or 3 (Fighter/Ranger/Rogue)

Also please include detailed info of the following: Character
Background, Personality, Description (as a stranger would see),
Phobias/Weaknesses.
