Try Andy, since Rorik bit it in the grotto against one. Email him at alrek@aol.com >Vampo Mages? What's that? (Eager look). :) Vampo Mages have been seen at Azcor's Tunnel and the Black Ship. Weapon resistance, Blast up the ying yang, way too many action points, great claw work for weapons, etc. Not something I've enjoyed running into.... Mike ***** Subject: AG-SOTBR what killed ya? From: thorron@inforamp.net (Throrron T) Grumpy Thorron writes: >Mr Mike...or anyone else who was out with Golden etc...what >killed at? Guess you needed Winter with u? We ran into a room full of Mashers and Lanky Herdlings and Grey Warlocks. Basically, two of the people who were supposed to show did not and we ended up with only 3 frontliners in a large room. Golden was too fast and ended up getting surrounded by 4 or 5 Mashers/Lankys and got deathblowed from behind by a Masher's great axe. I'm gonna have to spank Sxar and Elric for not making the turn. Unbelievably, the survivors lost the next encounter against Cyclops', but still got 85EP, even with 2 encounter losses! BTW, I guess Hugh got bugged enough by certain players and _finally_ changed EP learning. Whereas the old limit per encounter was 12EP no matter what you fought or were overpowered by was pretty lame in alot of players eyes, he has changed it to maximum of 25EP per encounter. It's too bad he didn't change this until now as a lot of players have stopped running their AG characters seeing how they were going against really difficult odds and then getting stuck with only maximum of 12EP per encounter. Two of the worst examples recently would have to be the Dream Team of Sten, Ripjack, Anvil Head, Paz, Vanya, Raven, Galin, Jessica to Azcor's and going up against 6 OWZ and others and then getting 12EP for winning the encounter. Another would be the small group of Coeus, Golden, Winterslope, Elric, Darius going up against 9 Mauks and 1 Spearmaster. Both cases the groups go against twice their power level and win, but only get a measly 12EP. Grumpy Thorron, with Sxar dropping out of AG and Fenrir nowhere to be found, and then with Darius and Barth taking off, would you be interested in having Winterslope join SOTBR? :) Or if any other 2500+ power or so midget fighter would be interested in adventuring on odd turn SOTBR or Goldy's even turn adventures send an email. Joining SOTBR is not required. Boran? :) Mike ***** Subject: Re: AG treasure ? From: doug37@delphi.com "T. Fed's fighting in top group of Ciston against mostly wimpy people. I don't see him going over 60% against people equal to his power level. If he had fought in the tourney, he would have got nuked badly by Nigel and Sxar. One could take a look at Snarkface who also just uses kick and martial arts. He went 1-2 in Singles with his kick 14 and martial arts 5 or 6. >Yes, and since head butt seldom occures, don't expect too many raises. >Laby is 1800+ power and still has had a level 5 head butt. If in guild, challenge fight against NPCs of similar height. Adventuring, hit the 2 cyclops encounters for sure at Skree, or hit Blood Cairn and go against many undead of similar height, find as many bandit encounters as possible as most of them are around 72 inches. [snip- stuff on Roegoth giving bonus to energy] >I have heard similar words spoken about Roegoth. I don't think the extra energy is dependent upon devoutness, so at higher levels it won't do as much as it would at lower levels. Mike ***** Subject: RE: AG stuff From: "T. Going against Graykor all these years and all those Felldwarf Battlelords and Felldwarf Spearmasters, I've done criticals to their faces/temples/head and they just do not daze. When I was running the 36" Lobo, he'd take massive blows to his head from all sorts of weapons and wouldn't even be slightly dazed.
