BTW, anyone want a pair of boot spikes? I have one to donate to a worthy person. Pete? :) >I'll say. Bumble will never have a good stam. In two turns she will be >25.24.16.17 at 800 power. Her Str, Dex and Cun still cost under 36 EP. That's a decent stamina for 800 power. Golden and Vanya had similar stamina at 800 power. :) >Hey, I've been hit at medium range with a punch dagger. Don't say I never toss you yapping dogs anything. :) Speak XXXXXXXXXX after wounding a vampire and death is certain Like I've said, you can find this writing in Marikhold. The rest is up to you. Sgt Talis mentioned Anvil Head and Winterslope giving items to new characters. Just for the record, Fenrir (yes, the evil dwarf everyone loves) and I also give items, gold, and discount prices to newer players. As for selling Boot Spikes to Sgt Talis for 1500gc, what can I say. Supply and demand at the time, right, Pete? :) M ***** Subject: RE: AG stuff From: "T. There has been some movement towards intelligent parry, but a lot of people still use exclusively parry. I choose to parry 100% with Golden mainly because...look at the dodge statistics for the Ripjack vs Sten fight. Ripjack 7/20 (35%) and Sten 6/15 (40%)! Those are just horrible stats, especially for their level of dex/cun/D/R points. I prefer partial parrying and taking some damage rather than completely missing a dodge and taking full damage. Intelligent parry and dodging _looked_ good for Ripjack mainly because he used blink like 8 times! Now if I was a midget dodger like Coeus or Paz, I'd have a 85-90% dodging stat and would definitely forget parrying. I think the bonuses for midgets on dodging is too much, but that's me. :) And since Todd asked me in an email, Golden only has Intelligent Parry level 1 from way back, and she has never used it. Also, since Todd asked :) I _do_ think I can beat Ripjack and Sten. :) In our Singles fight, Golden got Rip down to severely wounded right away while being at minor wounds herself, but she ran into energy problems. Stats for fight: Golden: Att 5/35, Par 23/27 Ripjack: Att 6/27, Par 32/35 Of the 3 missed parries for Rip, he used Blink 3 times, one failed. Saved his butt it did. :) Mike Referenced By Up
