We won't be going again. Eight hours driving to sell a handful of
start-ups is just not good business, not when there are next to no
PBM players attending the convention. We did better than the last
time we went to FIASCO two years ago, but it was still too poorly
attended. If hardly any players can be bothered to attend from
outside the Leeds area, it's hardly surprising that not many GM's
bother (though I am well aware that most firms won't have sent
flyers because they weren't going - for the record we sent flyers
last year even though we didn't attend and will gladly do so in
future).

We have our own Phildee Weekend in a couple of days time. There
will be a large number of our players attending, we'll all have a
really good time, and we'll sell more start-ups than we did at
FIASCO!

I don't think Time Patterns will go again either, as they've just
moved to Exmouth, so FIASCO is going to be a dead duck as far as
PBM is concerned. Pity really, as it used to be good. And it was
also a pity that the organiser wasn't a little more amiable
towards the PBM firms / mags who *did* support the event this year!
