AG: Stat drains... From: sean <sean@alpha2.csd.uwm.edu> Date: Sun, 25 Jun 1995 00:00:00 +0000 What do you all think of the idea of temporary stat drains? This would replace regular stat drains as they are. A chacacter who suffered a stat drain either by magic or a monster on an adventure would only be affected for the duration of the adventure. All the computations during the adventure would be with the decreased stats, but when the adventure was over the character would be back to normal. It could be thought of as healing before the next turn. This would open up Hugh and his monsters to all sorts of new directions. I personally wouldn't mind an occasional stat drain on an adventure if I were to heal after it ended. The biggest problem with stat drains is that it simply costs so much to pay to get it back. This would help that problem while still allowing Hugh to put stat draining monsters out there. Later... Sean Up
