The REAL July 95.1 Pandemonium Times From: dvistas@aol.com (D Vistas) Date: Tue, 04 Jul 1995 00:00:00 +0000 ========================================================================== ==== - Volume 1 - "THE GLADIATOR'S NEWS" - July 95.1 - <<<<<<<<<< P A N D E M O N I U M T I M E S >>>>>>>>>> Edited by Oganza Busasa, in association with The Galactic Inquirer Press All sports questions, articles and dares should be sent to dvistas@aol.com ========================================================================== ==== >>> The Arena Staff Fighters OK, so last issue should have been for June, but I got ahead of myself. This is the first official issue, dated for the first week in July 95. There is to be one issue per week, which will list all of the week's fights and results. So the issue you got last time doesn't count. It never happened. Got it? Good! In case you haven't noticed, many of the fighters in the Pandemonium rings of stone are from NPC Inc., which is a Hel based corporation that provides fighters for the ring. Most of the contestants are prison bait, but a few are hired on as ringers for high-stakes gambling outfits. Believe me, there's a whole lotta mula being thrown about on the outcome of some fights, and it's a dirty rotten shame that none of it comes our way. Alas... there's not much that can be done, unless someone offers you a heafty sum to throw a fight. These NPC guys are usually undertrained and easy prey. Heck, you don't often see them more than a few times before they're someone's lunchmeat. No, please don't missunderstand me. I think expliotation is what makes this planet great and I'd be the last to suggest regulatory proceedures. It's just that if I'm being exploited by someone, I wanna get well paid for it. Is that so wrong? I don't think so. - OB >>> Rank Promotions Rank 1: No promotions this week.
