Hacker - If you need this one explained, then we need to have a talk about
the machine that you downloaded this article on.  They are experts at
getting into computers systems that you thought could not be broken.
First appearing about 1970, by 2095, the Innernet had made them obsolete.

Healer - One of the few strictly benign Types around.  Healers tend to be
pacifists, but not to the point of lunacy, as they do carry a firearm as a
regular course of events.  They have medical knowledge, but chose to
combine it with the Magick and Psi powers they possess.

Hunter - The hunter is a bit wierd.  In both 1895, and 2025, he is a food
gather.  In 1990, he is an adventurer, seeking out game on all continents.
 The funny thing is that the skills don't change.

Immortal - This character type never ages, and even heals quickly.  Of
course, Mortal Injuries can still kill them.

Inventor - This is a person doing their best to break the rules of the
time they are in.  They often make really amazing advances.

Joy Runner - They tend to be rich kids who want to get out and do a bit of
adventuring.  a bit of flash, fancy clothes, rich man's hold out plasma
gun, and a credit card.  What more do you need to have fun? They are a lot
of fun to be around, even if they do have a lot to learn.

Mage - The Mage is one of the few pure combat spellcasters around, right
up to, and including knowing martial arts, and carrying a longsword, They
will take you on anyway you desire.  Of course, off the field is a
different story.

Marshall - This is one of the few Lawmen in the years before the turn of
the 19th century in the old west.  They tend to get a great deal of
respect from the average man on the street, as they *are* the Law.  Not
for the cowards.

Martial Artist - This creature is a bit strange.  Most of them study the
arts for either sport, of self defence, and very few expect to go on the
offensive with it.  In any case, you'll be suprised where they turn up.

Medic - This type is another modern one that first showed up in the 1960's
or so, and continues on up to the 2600's.  They have the ability to patch
you up with the best medical equipment they can lay their hands on, and
make sure that you will live long enough to hit the hospital.

Merc - During the period following WW III, certain professions became
sought after, including mercenaries.  The fighters who came out of that
were young, but had some good training under their belts.  They were the
basis for a lot of the Warlords that got set up at that point in time.

Multi-Tasked Recon (MTR) - These are the members of a professional
free-lance commando team.  They are trained in firearms, melee weapons,
and support weapons.

Mystic - These spellcasters tend to work more on the information end of
things than most Magick users.  They are useful to have around, since they
will be able to check Magick items for you, do some healing and generally
gather information.

Ninja - This is more an attitude than anything else.  Truth to tell,
Ninja's simply take what they find that works, and use it, and then
discard what doesn't work.  Silent weapons are their stock in trade.

Nomad - After WW III, a number of things happened.  The nomad clans took
to the horses and the plains.  They are a self-sufficient, nomadic people
and excellent horse handlers to boot.

Orc - Misunderstood, and often ridiculed, the Orcs have great mechanical
aptitude as well as likeing odd kinds of Magick

Pinkerton - The Pinkertons are a group of Detectives and Gaurds in the
rough and tumble days of the old west.  Feared and respected, they have a
reputation for never quiting.

Priest - The common man, and even the nobles of the middle ages was a
figure much respected.  This is the type of person who can influence the
direction that politics are going in.

Private Eye - Every once in a while you just have to get someone hired to
do the job right.  The traditional P.I. is the best way to do it anytime
after about 1920.  They have their rates set already, and all you are
going to pay for is the time.  It's a fun job.

S3DF Commando - The Sol III Defense Forces train some people to be the
deadlist commandos the world has ever seen.  This is your chance to be one
of them.

Samurai - The classical Japanese Warrior is someone you really don't want
to mess with.  In the 1893 TF, these are warriors that may either be Ronin
or bonded to a Master.  In 2025, they are either current, or former
warriors for the Shogunate.

Shadow Warrior - In the world of 2025, Midnyte Corp. turns out trained
adventurers.  You have the choice of staying with the Corp. or striking
out on your own.  The people coming out of this training are silent
warriors with a good grounding in silent warfare techniques.

Shock Trooper - In the world of 2025, the Dark Tower turns out trained
adventurers.  You have the choice of staying with them, or striking out on
your own.  training focuses on firearms, but some work with swords and the
like is included.

Sniper - When you only have one shot, and have to make it count, this is
the type of person that you want around.  They have one of the most
powerful rifles ever built, and while they are not the best shot yet, they
are better than anyone else starts.

Soldier of Fortune - This is a polite way of calling a Mercenary a
Mercenary.  With all of the small wars that have been going on in Europe,
as well as the Succession War here in the US, there were lot's of these
wandering around.

Starfighter Pilot - Every war needs its pilots since the earliest days of
aviation.  The Starfighters are our one defense against the Aliens.  Join
today.

SWAT Trooper - Swat stands for Special Weapons And Tactics.  These
troopers are usually hired by Police Departments and Corporate Security
units to preform in tactical situations.

Tac-suiter - This is the type of person that you want on your team.  They
usually have the most sophisticated weapons around, with the modualar
nature of their Tac-Suits

Templar - In the world of 1205, the Order of the Knights Templar turns out
trained adventurers.  The young page has the choice of staying with the
Order, or striking out on their own.  Training is in forms of chivalric
combat, including mounted and foot combat.

Texas Ranger - What really needs to be said here?  They are Rangers.

Time Runner - This is a rather unique type of Magicker...They tend to have
a few methods of getting around the limitations of Time.  Someone to worry
about...

Time Traveller -  These are strange people.  They take assignments going
back in time knowing that they might not be able to get back to their own
time.

Vampyre - This is a strange race that appear to have some things in common
with the vampires of legend.  In truth they are much different, although
they still live on human blood.  They are Dangerous.

Warbot Pilot - Due to an alien invasion in 1894, mankind started aquiring
the tech needed to make Warbots.  They became prominant during the 1980's
and are in use into the far future, with *lot's* of tech updates.  They
are usually limited to serious battlefields, so the pilots tend to be able
to defend themselves outside the 'Bot as well.

Warrior - This type is far more dangerous than they look at first.  Even
though they are basically Melee fighters, they can still use just about
any hand weapon they pick up.

Wizard - This is the basic Spellcastor that all others should be measured
against.  They know a little bit about a lot, and are generally useful no
matter what your mission is.
