AG: Weapon resistance From: "T. Woods" <twoods@blue.weeg.uiowa.edu> Date: Sun, 30 Jul 1995 00:00:00 +0000 I remember having been told that weapon resistance was basically like extra PF. It seems to add so much extra PF per level. This is why the more damage a character does the more likely they'll get through the weapon resistance of a creature. It does seem fairly obvious that it doesn't help vs. skills (or maybe not as much). Many characters who can't wound these creatures with their weapons can wound them with headbutt's and kick (or on parries :) But since I don't encounter many weapon resistant creatures who also can take a fair amount of damage (on purpose) I'd like to know a few things. Most of the low pl weapon resistant creatures don't take more then 1-2 hits that go through their wr to drop them. Can anyone who encounters weapon resistant creatures fairly often tell if the weapon resistance of a particular creature is overcome once is it easier to do it again? Also can anyone confirm/deny that wr helps vs. skills and how much? Later, Todd Brother Battlewise- Just sliced through my first major artery. Getting a deathblow is lucky. With Fineous on my side I hope for many more. :) Referenced By Up
